Arnold Schwarzenegger own the rights for the Pumping Iron name so he has to call it something else. It will be a third documentary movie in the serie about the golden days of bodybuilding and around Arnold Schwarzenegger`s life. This time it will be a lot of published clips and pics not seen before from Arnolds home town Graz with his friends and many others as George Butler says; "I've got somewhere between six and seven thousand photos of Arnold that I took between 1972 and 1985 or so".
Pumping Iron was the movie that started Arnold Schwarzenegger career and fame after that he went into show business and well rest is history. Now at age 64 he is again returning to the big screen, yes he is back with Expendables 2, Last Stand and maybe up comming Terminator 5! Maybe King Conan too? Well we can hope.
The first one of the series was a good docu-drama too where you had some great characters but also show us how bodybuilding was back then and what a camaradie and fun they had. I highly recommend it to see that movie.
George Butler has stated on when to make the third one;" Yes, maybe the next couple of years". I really hope it will be a reality and for us bodybuilding fans it will be sure a great movie. Thank you George Butler!
